THEORY
In Taoist philosophy, nature provides inspiration for imitation and
movement monkeys, mountains, birds and streams lend expressive
movements that can stimulate calm, creativity and ah ha's.

In an age where we are encouraged to drive ourselves “hard and fast”, it has become evident that without some understanding of how our body and mind work, we can become overloaded, tired, confused and angry.
The practice of Chi Kung encourages the mind and body to work together harmoniously, allowing the internal and external, the yin and yang to achieve optimal balance, happiness, vitality and confidence.
We are born with a finite resource of energy and it is our responsibility to care for our body and replenish it. Regular Chi Kung practice provides this renewal, masterfully.
THE WHY
Health benefits with regular practice brings:
1. muscle strengthening
2. improved balance
3. a development in bone density
4. reduction of stress
5. healing through calming the body and calming the mind
Testimonial
“Going on holiday used to be a trial for me. Anxiety and tension would cause weeks of constipation. The inability to think clearly, form sentences and climb my way out of brain fog was debilitating. I hid from people, felt unsafe and insecure. These days I am able to function more serenely with the use of breath and going into stillness which I learned through, these exercises and postures. I can bring myself to express my needs and feel I can ask for them to be met. As I go deeper into the practice, I feel significant transformation taking place, for which I’m truly grateful.”
DIANA BAYNES
Diana has enjoyed expressing her creativity at art school, Central Saint Martin’s where she received a first class honours degree.
Gratified to have been chosen to portray older women in a favourable light, on TV, bill-boarded and exhibited in glossy magazines around the world.
Diana feels fortunate to have travelled widely – Japan in particular caught her imagination – a place where prints and paintings come to life in breathtaking beauty.
Today, her love for life emanates from a place of trust and calm, brought about through her willingness to breathe and find stillness – established deeply through the art of chi kung.
